Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Mme. Emile Mouillere’ – Photographed at Brunswick Community College Supply, NC on April 24th, 2016. This is a white blooming cultivar of the more familiar blue or pink Hydrangea. Captured in the early morning light prior to full floral expansion, this inflorescence displays a milky, cream colored appearance. While the soil pH usually determines the expression of blue, pink or purple flower displays, this baby maintains the pure white innocence of a bridal gown. A stately southern garden standard, even though it is native to Japan.
