As a horticulturist, I’ve admired nature’s beauty for over 20 years, but the intricate details are what drew me in even further. More specifically, the uniqueness of every single flower. No two are alike. Even within a single species, innumerable combinations of color, shape, and size present themselves. When attempting to photograph flowers try spraying water on the flower from a mist bottle, because everything looks better with dew on its petals. In addition, try taking photos in the early morning and early evening, due to better lighting. No flower looks sexy when bleached out by the bright mid-day sunlight.
